CMA sees surge in enquiries

Since lockdown in the UK, CMA has seen a 400% surge in enquiries from churches, community groups and foodbanks seeking to help people in their local communities find freedom from debt and hope for the future.

Many of the enquirers attended one of CMA's free Webinars held in May and June where the CMA Debt Advice Centre and CMA Connect Centre models were presented as a low-cost opportunity for churches to provide free, confidential face-to-face debt support to local people.

Five new centres have joined CMA during the lockdown period alone and are preparing to open to help those in debt at the earliest opportunity, with many other enquirers planning to start too.
