Robin Willison: Chair of Trustees. Robin brings deep strategic, operational, financial and risk management expertise to CMA from more than 40 years in financial services, including senior leadership positions in Lloyds Bank and LV=. He’s currently Senior Independent Director on the boards of two mutual insurance companies. Robin is an active member of his local community and at various times has been a youth club leader, school governor, Street Angel and a trustee of several charities. He’s part of the leadership team at Welcome Church in Woking that operates an active and growing CAP ministry. He’s married to Anna and has four grown up children, with his time increasingly being taken up supporting nine grandchildren at various events!

Julian Mander: Trustee.

Julian is Centre Manager at Riverside Money Advice in Birmingham, oversees a number of missional teams within the local church community. His background in systems analysis, IT and management has given Julian a keen insight into the blend of people, systems and strategy required for a successful organisation.

His long campaign to beat his wife at Scrabble has finally seen them draw level at game #3992, and is occasionally let out at weekends to tackle an obstacle course or trail run.

Alison Padfield: Trustee.

Alison became aware of CMA when she became the CEO at Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT) who have been a CMA centre since 2015.  She lives in Mid Devon with her husband and enjoys spending time with family and friends, and they particularly enjoy walking the nearby coast paths and moor. She is at her happiest in the kitchen baking cakes and playing happy music at full volume! Alison has been at St George and St Pauls Church in Tiverton for 28 years and as well as being on the PCC she regularly hosts the 11-13s midweek bible study (where they enjoy the fruits of her labour in the kitchen!)

David Nussbaum: Trustee.

David enjoyed a varied executive career in both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, initially in finance, becoming CFO of a packaging group, and then of Oxfam. His subsequent executive roles were as CEO of Transparency International, WWF-UK and The Elders. He now embraces a portfolio of non-executive chair, director and trustee roles, including as Chair of CAP.

David and his wife have four adult children and have been active members of their local church for over three decades.

Kate Nicholas: Trustee.

Kate is a strategy, brand and communications consultant with extensive experience of working with Christian organisations and the NGO sector.

Formerly Chief Communications Officer for World Vision International and a national journalist and editor, Kate has more than 30 years of experience working in communications and the media. She is also an authorised preacher in the Church of England as well as a Christian author and broadcaster.

Sarah Vinson: Company Secretary.

Sarah is based in North Cornwall and is the Centre Manager at Launceston Money Advice Centre. Previously, she was a senior manager within a major international IT company in their sales support and business development area. She was also a uniformed scout leader for more than 30 years in Buckinghamshire, with roles at section, group, district and county level. Sarah worships at a lively Anglican/Methodist Ecumenical Partnership church where she plays the organ for Sunday worship, is an Anglican Lay Pastoral Minister and sits on her local Deanery Synod as well as the Truro Diocesan Synod.

Julie-Anne Wanless: Observer.

Julie-Anne is the centre manager for St Andrew's Community Networks's debt centre in Liverpool, where she has been for the last 22 years.

Away from debt advising she enjoys looking after her grandchild, crochet, sewing and walking her dog on the beach.

Tessa Cox: Observer.

Tessa has been a Senior Debt Advisor with MK Money Lifeline in Milton Keynes since 2015.

She previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry coordinating multicentre European clinical trials.

Tessa worships at a Baptist church where she plays in the band. She also sings in a gospel choir and enjoys tandem cycling with her husband. When there is a spare minute Tessa loves a bit of knitting and cross stitch.

The systems and communication that Community Money Advice has in place to support the affiliated centres are excellent and internal records and systems are likewise.
