Training has always been at the heart of our services, with the aim of taking individuals with little or no experience of working with clients, to a place where they have a good understanding of how to assist people with budgeting support and the processes involved in unlocking debt issues.

Our training courses and materials, help individuals gain an in-depth knowledge of the tools available to be able to offer budgeting support & education and to be a trained Debt Adviser, helping clients to find sustainable solutions for presenting problems, in order to help them to become debt free, giving them real hope for the future.

Over the years CMA has written, rewritten, adapted and added to our training programme, culminating in achieving the:

  • CMA Level 3 Award in Generalist Debt Advice (MaPS accredited at Advice Level)
  • CMA Level 4 Award in Casework/Specialist Debt Advice (MaPS accredited at Casework/Specialist)
