CMA Training Programme
CMA Training Programme
Over the years CMA has written, rewritten, adapted and added to our training programme, culminating in achieving Money Advice Service accreditation at 'Advice Level' for our generalist debt adviser course.
Training has always been at the heart of CMA’s services with the aim of taking individuals with little or no experience of supporting clients with debt problems, to a place where they have a good understanding of the processes involved in unlocking debt issues. Our training helps individuals gain an in-depth knowledge of the tools available to be a Debt Adviser, to help them find sustainable solutions for each presenting situation and to support each client with budgeting education, in order to help them remain debt free, giving them real hope for the future.
CMA’s debt advice training dovetails nicely into the skilled and specialist areas of training provided by Wiseradviser, ensuring that each Debt Adviser can continue to grow and enhance their skills and knowledge at a pace they are comfortable with and in areas relevant to the sorts of situations they encounter on a regular basis.
CMA Connect centres allow individuals to operate as Money Mentors, offering budgeting support, collecting and collating the client's financial information and referring the regulated debt advice to CMA's team of Hub Debt Advisers.
CMA’s team of trainers based all over the UK, have visited numerous locations, delivered hundreds of training days and taken thousands of trainees through the different courses. They have had the enormous satisfaction of seeing them make a real difference in people’s lives once trained, to give advice / support within their local CMA centres.

Hosting Training Days
If you would like to host a CMA training day, we will always do our best to meet your requirements and provide training at your venue.
In order to get the most out of a training day, we usually prefer to have a group of 8 or more trainees attending. However if you have less than 8 people, we may well be able to arrange training depending on various factors which we will discuss with you. Our training days are usually advertised on our website where bookings can be made from other CMA centres / organisations helping to make up the number of trainees attending, if required to make the day run.
If you would like to discuss your requirements before completing the booking form, or have a general enquiry about CMA training please email us at [email protected]
