CMA is seeking to appoint new roles to support the rapid expansion of the charity and the affiliate network, and we are now inviting applications for these positions, as follows:
IT Manager
£32K pro-rata, 16 hpw flexitime.
This is an IT project manager role (building/coding IT functionality is managed by CMA’s IT contractors, Practically iO).
The IT Manager will be responsible for:
- The ongoing development of CMA’s casework management software, Catalyst, gathering end user feedback and creating operational specifications. Likewise for other IT programs & tools employed by CMA
- Line managing Catalyst Development Team volunteers
- CMA Website; IT for Conferences and Events; CMA team IT provision and support
- Social Media development
- Working with other departments, Practically iO, and third party organisations on cross-functional projects, as appropriate

Policy Manager
£35K pro-rata, 24 hpw flexitime.
The successful candidate will have an informed understanding of debt and money advice sector regulation (Gov., FCA, MaPS, National Operational Standards, etc.) and a demonstrable ability to translate regulatory requirements into Plain English documents and guides to be employed by CMA and the affiliate centre network.
The Policy Manager will be responsible for:
- Researching, analysing, interpreting and implementing changes in: Government policy pertaining to the money advice sector; FCA regulation; MaPs accreditations (including rolling reviews); other.
- Liaison with sector bodies, representing CMA in forums and meetings, as appropriate.
- The Policy Manager will work with other departments to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing management of regulatory requirements
- Working with other CMA department managers on cross-functional projects

CMA Hub Debt Adviser
£22K pro-rata 24 hours total available.
We will consider applications for 8, 16 or 24 hours. This post is primarily to work with external referral agencies, working directly with clients, giving debt advice remotely. The role would suit an adviser who enjoys a fast paced environment, can manage a high caseload and is resourceful and enjoys a challenge!
