CMA Impact Report 2023
We are delighted to share CMA’s latest Impact Report with you Making a Difference in Tough Times.
The report celebrates the dedication of staff and volunteers, and the bravery and tenacity of clients. Through headline statistics and client stories from around the UK, it highlights the far-reaching impact of becoming debt free, as people reach out for help and engage with advice and support.
The report also details the tireless work of our centres in the midst of the worst cost of living crisis in a generation, supporting thousands of people out of debt through face-to-face advice and support.
Notably, this is CMA’s first publication since founder and CEO, Heather Keates, was awarded an OBE for services to debt advice. Heather started CMA in 1997. Her first-hand experience of debt and her passion to help others has driven CMA’s growth from one centre in West Sussex to a national network of over 160 centres. Nearly three decades later, CMA is still fighting to help people escape debt and tackle the stigma that goes with it, as the issue becomes increasingly common.
